About the artist
My journey began in Luanda, Angola, in 1958, and has since taken me across continents—from the vibrant landscapes of Mozambique and Brazil to the unique atmospheres of Timor, Portugal, and the Azores. Since 2011, I have called Germany home.
This life of constant movement through diverse cultures has deeply influenced my creative voice, allowing me to explore a multifaceted range of themes. While my professional path has touched fields as varied as architecture, archives, and gastronomy, my true focus lies in the visual essence of my surroundings.
I find inspiration in the quiet dialogue between shadows and structure. My work is defined by an attraction to clean lines and geometric patterns, elements that I strive to enhance in every photograph and canvas. Since relocating to Germany, art has evolved from a passion into a way of life, resulting in a growing portfolio of international exhibitions.
