Learn about the artist
I was born in Luanda, Angola, in 1958 and have lived and worked in various countries worldwide, including Angola, Mozambique, Brazil, Timor, Portugal, and the Azores. Since 2011, I’ve been living in Germany.
Living in proximity to diverse cultures has shaped my character, and this influence is reflected in my work and creativity, which exhibit a range of styles and themes. I have worked professionally in several areas, including hotel administration, architecture and engineering design, library and archives, telecommunications administration, real estate, and gastronomy.
Since I arrived in Germany, I have dedicated myself more to the visual arts – photographing and painting have become a part of my lifestyle. I already have some solo and group exhibitions, regional and international, in my CV.
Generally, the motto of my work is “The seemingly inconspicuous”, recognizing and appreciating small details that are often overlooked, even considered unsightly, but when placed in the center of attention, they usually gain a special aesthetic and beauty to which I devote my artistic creations.
