Born in Luanda in 1958, I have lived and worked in many different countries around the world: Angola, Mozambique, Brazil, Timor, Portugal, the Azores, and since 2011 in Germany. In this way, I have learned to know and appreciate different cultures. These impressions are reflected in my work and my creativity. In many ways, the motto of my work is: “The seemingly inconspicuous”, the recognition and appreciation of small details that are often overlooked, even considered unsightly. But if you put them in the center of attention, they often gain a special aesthetic and beauty to which I devote my artistic attention.
